Glitter tattoos are my secret weapon for the kids who don't want their whole face painted but absolutely don't want to be left out. I use a stencil, a skin-safe adhesive, and cosmetic-grade glitter — and the result lasts three to seven days, through baths and pool parties and school.
I bring more than 80 stencils to every gig: butterflies, hearts, soccer balls, dragons, unicorns, the lot. The boys go for the dinosaurs and the boldest dragons; the girls usually start at the unicorn shelf. The adults always tell me they don't want one, then ask for a small one on the wrist about an hour in. I'm used to it.
The adhesive and glitter are both cosmetic-grade and safe on sensitive skin. To remove, a bit of baby oil or rubbing alcohol on cotton wool lifts the whole design off in seconds.
Same capacity as face painting — comfortably up to 12 children per hour. I often pair glitter with face painting at bigger events so kids can choose, or queue for both.
